Just wanted to share some good news…
So the other night, I sent an email to my parents coming out as a trans man, further elaborating on how I have finally something that I have been missing my whole life and that I have never felt happier.
The replies I got from my rents:
Stepdad: “That is a huge decision to make. Love you.”
Dad: He pretty much summarized that he already knew that I was a male stuck in a female body since I was a child and will support me in whatever decisions I make.
(Stepdad & Dad addressed me as Sar when they replied. :-D)
Mom: Realizes that I have been thinking about this for awhile and felt like an atomic bomb was being dropped at her.
Went better than I expected, actually. Made my day. Now on to the public announcements on Facebook within the next few days…
