I have a question about transmen, T, and donating blood. I try to donate blood as often as I can. I have a question about blood and taking testosterone. I’ve heard it increases your red blood cells, is that true?
Also, should you inform the people at the donation center that you’re trans* if your legal documents have been changed? Because you know how they check your hemoglobin and it’s supposed to be at a certain level and the levels are different for males and females (as are some other requirements). Would taking T affect those levels, or should you inform them that you’re trans*?
